When I was 17 I went to Triple Cities School of Beauty in Binghamton. From there I worked in several salons in Auburn, Cortland, and Groton. I went on to SUNY Oswego where I earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Vocational Education. I started my teaching career at OCM BOCES where I did my student teaching, and was a substitute teacher. From there, I traveled to Broome Tioga BOCES where I taught Cosmetology for 7 years to high school and adult students. In 1999 I started teaching here at TST BOCES where I have been ever since. I like giving students a reason to come to school and making a career out of what they like doing. I am also a NY State Board Examiner for Cosmetology and Nail Technicians. My husband and I have 4 children and 2 grandchildren. I spend most of my spare time enjoying my family.
