Why you are excited to serve on the TPO: Trinity is a special place and has been a gift to our family. I am excited to support our teachers, cultivate and deepen our sense of community, and connect parents more fully to the life of the school, guided by the call to ‘be devoted to one another in love’ (Romans 12:10).

How long your family has been at Trinity?: The 2026-27 school year will be our 4th year at Trinity.
Why you are excited to serve on the TPO: I am excited for a front row seat to see all the Lord has for Trinity! I pray that I honor the Lord and serve the Trinity community well while on the TPO.
What do you love most about Trinity? Friendships. The Lord blessed me with wonderful, amazing, fast friendships.

Why you are excited to serve on the TPO: I love to volunteer at Trinity in order to serve the people who pour into my children's lives on a daily basis.
What do you love most about Trinity?: I love the community that I have found at Trinity and feel like I am surrounded by people who know and love our whole family.
What is your favorite Trinity tradition?: My favourite tradition is Christmas Chapel and hearing the Community Chorus and the Lower School sing Messiah. It brings me to tears every time. :)

Where are you from originally?: I’m originally from Atlanta and first moved to Durham in 2011 when my husband attended grad school. After living away for seven years, we returned to Durham in 2020. We were looking for a place to call home long-term, and we knew from our previous experience that we loved the city and already had a community here.
How long your family has been at Trinity?: Blaise and Vivian started Kindergarten at Trinity in 2022. We initially attended an information session in late 2021 with the intention of possibly considering Trinity for their first-grade year. However, we were so impressed by the school's mission and vision that we went home that evening and began the application process for Kindergarten instead.
Why you are excited to serve on the TPO: I have had the opportunity to serve as a room parent each year since Kindergarten. I've found volunteering at Trinity to be a wonderful way to give back to the school community while also getting to know the teachers, administration, and other Trinity families. There is always a need for volunteers, and I'm excited to take on a new opportunity to contribute through the TPO, in the area of fundraising. I look forward to helping support the school and its mission in this role.
What is your favorite Trinity tradition?: One of my favorite Trinity traditions is the Kindergarten Ho Down. I'm especially excited to experience it with John Henry this year.

Where are you from originally?: I was born and raised in Indiana but moved to the Triangle in 1998 for my husband, Tim, to attend law school at Duke.
How long your family has been at Trinity?: All of my children started in TK or K at Trinity so this is our 19th year!
Why you are excited to serve on the TPO: I’m excited to serve on the TPO because I love the community at Trinity and hope to help to foster and deepen it for families and students! I also love helping new families or those who feel on the outside to become more connected.
What do you love most about Trinity? I love so many things about Trinity! There is a general kindness that runs throughout the school and it truly delivers what it promises - my children have each been known and loved so well! They have also learned HOW to learn and have been encouraged and challenged as whole people. They have thrived at college in a large part due to Trinity!
What is your favorite Trinity memory/event/tradition? I love all of the special days in the Lower School like Pioneer Day, Pharaoh Day, and Medieval Day. In the middle school I love how much the teachers adore middle school kids! The end of the year ceremony where they bestow a virtue on each child is also unmatched. I love the fun activities in the upper school - watching athletics and the parent tailgate for the flag football game!

Where are you from originally?: I am originally from Haifa, Israel but grew up in San Diego, California and have moved a lot especially after marriage (including to India and Switzerland).
How long your family has been at Trinity?: We joined Trinity in 2025 when we moved to the RDU area from Geneva, Switzerland.
Why you are excited to serve on the TPO: I have always loved participating in Ronen's schools no matter where we have been. It allows me to give back to the schools that I entrust with my son's education. Working with other parents allows me to feel move involved and contributing to the most important institution for my family.
What do you love most about Trinity? We only arrived last year but have felt loved and accepted from the very start - I describe the feeling to others like a very warm hug. The kindness and genuine affection our entire family has felt has been unique and deeply appreciated. We feel it is not an accident that we ended up at Trinity but feel that we were guided here from the start. I would add that we have been to many schools and not all have been as warm to welcome so we understand the gift that we have been given. We are all looking forward to great years ahead and are so thankful.

I’m excited for the opportunity to serve on the TPO as a meaningful way to encourage, support, and pour into our INCREDIBLE middle school teachers and staff, who invest so much in our children each day.
What do you love most about Trinity?
What I appreciate most about Trinity is that my three vastly different children are truly known, deeply valued, and sincerely loved by their teachers.
What is your favorite Trinity memory/event/tradition?
Opening Chapel when the Seniors walk in our youngest Trinity students.

How long your family has been at Trinity?: This is our family's eighth year at Trinity; we’ve been here since our oldest started TK.
Why you are excited to serve on the TPO:
I’m excited to serve on the TPO because I have a deep appreciation for teachers and the work they do each day. My mom was a teacher, so I’ve seen firsthand how much time, care, and effort goes into supporting students both inside and outside the classroom. Being part of the TPO is a meaningful way for me to give back, support our incredible teachers, and connect with other families in the Trinity community.
What do you love most about Trinity?
What I love most about Trinity is its mission and the way each child is truly known and loved not just by their teachers, but by the entire staff. It’s clear that this environment has shaped my children’s love of school and learning, which means so much to our family.
What is your favorite Trinity memory/event/tradition?:
My favorite Trinity tradition is Fall Fest. I love seeing the whole community come together to have fun and connect. I still remember our very first Fall Fest seven years ago. It made such an impression on us, and it’s just as special today.

What do you love most about Trinity?: I love hearing that students have a heightened sense of curiosity about the world because of their Trinity education.
What is your favorite Trinity memory/event/tradition?: Opening Chapel offers a benediction over the school year and a fresh start for all. Plus, summer is over for parents!

Why you are excited to serve on the TPO: It’s a privilege to serve the teachers, the children and the school. I enjoy connecting with other TPO parents and see how to stay true to what Trinity is about.
What is your favorite Trinity memory/event/tradition?
Trinity’s graduation for our 2020 students. We held our traditional way of celebrating each graduating student, parked and sitting each family on our cars on campus. It was Covid times, schools were doing graduations online, and we had an in person event, keeping it safe, but honoring our graduating class.
