Your Library Catalog
Log in with your school/work gmail for full access to catalog, collections and databases. Through the catalog, you can look for and find books & resources, do book holds, see checkout information, access quality databases & resources for information & research needs, and check out collections on different topics.
Please contact us anytime if you and/or your students need support or a refresher on navigating your library catalog.
Your Learning Resources
You can find all on your library catalog under Learning Resources. Catalog login (school/work gmail) will allow you to access some of the resources directly (type topic in search field and then click on Databases tab). With others, you will have to use a district-assigned username & password so keep this one-pager handy.
Your Learning Resources Collection
You can use this collection to pick a just-right research database and view helpful tutorials (how to access databases & citation tool through your library catalog).
Your Digital Reading App
Free eBooks and magazines. Check out & read instantly! Log in with school/work gmail. TSD staff - please contact Meghan if you're interested in purchasing class sets (available titles assigned to your students through Sora for an extended loan period at a discounted price) for your curriculum & unit plans.

Your Community Partner
All TSD students and staff can get an Austin Public Library card. You can enjoy APL books & resources and place holds on the APL catalog. Book holds can be delivered to TSD, make sure to click on Twin Oak Branch.
Youth Library Card Application (students up to 17 years old)
Adult Library Card Application(18 years old and up)
Group Library Card Application(TSD staff members)
You can either scan your application and email it or give your application to Meghan.
You may contact Jessica McCart at Jessica.McCart@austintexas.gov if you need to renew your APL group library card.
