Resource Room Grading Procedures
The goal of the resource class is to gain confidence and skills throughout the year in a variety of academic areas. Each student will be given instruction in these areas bases on his/her needs. Groups may consist of large group, small group, individual or inclusion.
Each subject is graded on the following scale:
90 – 100 A
80 – 89 B
70 – 79 C
60 – 69 D
59 or lower F
Reading grades are based on daily work, weekly reading quizzes, AR quiz scores and meeting AR goal. Your child will need to read at home daily in order to reach their nine-week AR goal.
Math grades are based on daily Math Minute, homework and quizzes.
