Adobe Spark (K-12)
Let’s take a deeper dive into Adobe Spark. During this session, we’ll review each of the three design options available. We’ll also discuss app-smashing between Adobe Spark and Google Classroom, Flipgrid, Canvas, Google Sites, and more!
Canvas Bootcamp (6-12)
Get ready for the new year and build your Canvas course. We’ll discuss homepage ideas, navigation settings, importing content from previous courses, and how to make Canvas a resource hub for your students. We’ll top off the session by reviewing some of the lesser known Canvas tools such as collaborations, discussions, groups, and more.
DyKnow is a classroom management solution for 1 to 1 classrooms that provides teachers with real-time visibility of students’ activity on their devices. DyKnow allows teachers to view and lock students’ screens, push out URLs, create custom site blocking plans, and view data about how students are using their devices in class. DyKnow will be available to all teachers in grades 6-12 for the 19-20 school year. Attendees of this session will learn the ins and outs of DyKnow and how to become proficient in their usage of this resource in a technology-enhanced classroom setting.
Google Classroom, Sites, & Forms (K-5)
It’s that time of year to refresh your Google Classroom and Site. During this session we’ll review some of the recent updates that have come to Google Classroom and Google Sites. We’ll also discuss how your classroom webpage can complement your use of Google Classroom to provide a unified resource hub for your classroom. We’ll finish by reviewing options for using Google Forms in your classroom.
Google expeditions (K-12)
Maybe you’ve heard the buzz in your building about Google Expeditions!? During this session we will provide an overview of Google Expeditions, including device care, safety considerations, and how to plan and lead an Expedition with your students. You’ll also have a chance to participate in an Expedition and explore the available Expeditions. New for 2019: AR (Augmented Reality) Expeditions!
laptop interactive tools (K-12)
Touchscreen laptops bring a new set of tools available to all teachers. These tools, when used with other TSC technologies, can unleash new potentials in your classroom. During this session we’ll explore the Lenovo pen settings, Epson Interactive tools, and Sketchpad. We’ll also discuss how to use your touchscreen device with TSC Epson projectors and Google tools, including Screencastify and Google Drawings.
new staff laptops (basics) (K-12)
This session will provide staff with an introductory overview of their new laptop, along with a refresher on key features available in Windows 10. From setting preferences in the operating system to efficient shortcuts to file management tips and tricks, this session will help staff become better acclimated to their new laptop, Windows 10, and how these tools can lead to greater productivity.
