A Little About Me...

Hello and thanks for visiting!  My name is Mrs. Rachel Hainje.  My husband, Rod, and I have three children, Cole, Luke, and Anna.  They have all attended Battle Ground Elementary/Intermediate, Battle Ground Middle School, and Harrison High School.  I am proud that all of my kids are products of TSC schools. 

This is my nineteenth year of teaching and already my eighth year at Battle Ground Intermediate.  My time here has truly has gone by in a flash!  I began my teaching career in Logansport back in 1997, teaching 5th and 6th grades.   After stepping away for a few years to stay home with my kids, I knew it was time to get back in the classroom.  While at BGI, I have been fortunate enough to teach both 4th and 5th grades.  Battle Ground Elementary/Intermediate is a wonderful school, and there is no place I'd rather be!
