Grading
Behavior
We will be using the standard grading scale throughout the year:
90% - 100% = A
80% - 89% = B
70% - 79% = C
60% - 69% = D
59% and below = F
Reminders and Redirections
Students will receive 1-2 chances to redirect and change their behavior.
Loss of Privilege and a 1-on-1 conversation.
If behaviors continue, the student may lose a classroom privilege (independent work choice, break from classroom activity, etc.) I also like to meet with the student privately to talk about how we can move forward positively.
Parent/Guardian Contact
If behaviors continue, I will reach out to you so we can work together to ensure success in the classroom.
Office Referral
If behaviors continue, the student will be referred to the principal's office.
🟥Important Note: In cases of serious behaviors (physical aggression, threats, or violence), steps 1-3 may be skipped, and your student will be sent directly to the office.
