About Mrs. Andrews

My name is Meg Andrews and I live near Monticello, IN. I am married to Scott, a School Psychologist, and have 2 children Madeline Age 29 and Spencer Age 26. Our daughter has her Masters Degree from Columbia University and is currently an ESL (English as a second language) school teacher in New York City. Our son is entering his second year at Harvard Law School this Fall.

I went back to school part time once both my kids were in elementary school and graduated from IU Kokomo in 2010. I spent nine years in the Twin Lakes School District, three years in fifth grade and six years in third grade, and joined the Wea Ridge staff in August 2019.

I am excited to continue working in Wea Ridge Elementary and look forward to the future challenges.

About Miss Brooks

My name is Jamie Brooks and I am from Lafayette, Indiana. I’ve wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember and have had a great interest in high ability since I went through the program in TSC schools as a student. I am a senior at Purdue University studying Elementary Education with concentrations in reading and high ability. Over this summer I’ve enjoyed working at a childcare center with infants and toddlers and have previously worked at a preschool and babysat. Outside of school and working with children, I enjoy traveling, reading, playing games, and baking. I’ve enjoyed all my field experiences during my time at Purdue with students K-5 and am excited to become even more involved in a classroom as a student teacher this year!
