Grading Policy
90-100% = A
80%-89% = B
70%-79% = C
60%-69% = D
50%-59% = F
***After receiving a test or quiz grade, students will be allowed to make corrections. For each question corrected, the student can receive up to half the points back on the assignment.***
Homework Policy
Students will be expected to read 20 minutes each night.
The students will be given weekly spelling tests that they should be studying for throughout the week.
During the school day, students will be given time to complete their work. If it does not get completed by the end of the day, students will be expected to bring the rest of the work home to complete.
Absences
When a student is absent, they will have one guaranteed day, in addition to the number of days absent, to make up missed work unless otherwise stated by the teacher. For example, if your child was out sick for two school days, they would be allowed three school days to complete, and return, their misssed work.
