GRADING
All grades will be recorded in PowerSchool. Art project assignments reflect the Indiana Standards for Visual Arts K-5.
Most projects are graded and worth 10 points each. Project grades reflect effort and completion.
Citizenship includes making good choices, being respectful, and helping make our classroom a safe and positive place for everyone. 2nd-5th grade students earn a citizenship grade worth 20 points each quarter. Every student is given 20 points at the start of the quarter. If students break a rule during art, they will be given a warning. If the issue continues, one point will be deducted that day, and the date/description of behavior choice will be recorded in PowerSchool. Parents can check citizenship grades online any time.
