In our classroom we have five rules from Whole Brain Teaching.

Rule 1: Follow directions quickly.

Rule 2; Raise your hand for permission to speak.

Rule 3: Raise your hand for permission to leave your seat.

Rule 4: Make smart choices.

Rule 5: Keep our dear learning community happy.

We use ClassDojo to keep track of how these rules are being followed in the classroom,  at specials, at lunch, at recess, at field trips, etc. Students will earn points when rules are followed. Students will lose points when rules are broken. Students will redeem these points for a variety of prizes and rewards based on how many points they earn by the end of the week. Points will typically be redeemed on Fridays. Rewards could be anything from stickers to extra recess!
