Welcome back fifth graders! My name is Miss Carrillo and I want to welcome you to fifth grade. I was born and raised in Lafayette. I have one dog who I enjoy spending lots of time with. I enjoy traveling and taking photographs along the way. This is my seventh year teaching, but my first year teaching fifth grade! I am SO EXCITED that you are in my class this school year! I can't wait to meet you and have so much fun in room 28!
The most important way to help your child grow and succeed is to build a great communication system. You can always get ahold of me through ClassDojo, email, or a phone call. I will most likely get back to you quicker through ClassDojo. I will reply between the hours of 9-5pm. If you message me after 5pm, please allow me 24 hours to reply, unless it is over the weekend, or a break, please allow me until Monday by 5pm to reply.
