We are starting a new novel - The Unteachables. We will end our year with this book. We will have vocab and test questions that match it.

schmooze - suck up/bribe

smug - full of yourself

mirthless - fake - think of a fake smile

bellow - deep, loud noise

agony - lots of pain

Math

We have officially covered all of our 4th grade math topics for the year. I like to end the year with some real world projects in math. We will be making a business plan to open our own movie theatres, then we will be building them with Legos. 

Words

WRITING/GRAMMAR:We are combing our writing and social studies together to do an "all about Indiana" project. Students will create a display board and give a short presentation about Indiana.
