Kindergarten Student Evaluation Policy

The method for establishing grades at the kindergarten level is a checklist of outcomes that relate to Common Core State Standards. Our kindergarten report card is given at the end of each 9 week period. It covers Reading, Writing, Personal Development/Practical Skills, Mathematics, Science/Health, Social Studies, Art, Music, Physical Education, and Personal Growth & Study Habits.

4-Mastery (100%-90%)

3-Approaching Mastery (89%-80%)

2-Developing Mastery (79%-70%)

1-Needs Time to Master (69%-60%)

1-Needs Time to Master (59%-50%)

4 would equate to an "A"

3 would equate to a "B"

2 would equate to a "C"

1 would equate to a "D" or "F"
