Grading Policy

Some Special Education students will receive grades from the Resource Room, some will have a combined grade from the General Ed. Classroom and the Resource Room, and others will receive grades only from the General Ed. Classroom. These decisions will be made at your child’s annual case conference. Please see your child’s IEP for that information. If your child does have combined grades you will only be able to see the grades they received from the general education teacher on Power School. Resource Room grades will be combined at the end of each nine weeks and manually override the grade in Power Teacher. If you would like to know how your child is doing in the Resource Room please do not hesitate to ask.

Kindergarten students will use the General Ed. Kindergarten grade card that uses 1,2,3,4. The highest score is a 4.
