Welcome to 5th Grade!
I am very excited for this school year at Klondike Elementary! 5th Grade is such a great year full of opportunities to grow as a student and a friend. My goal as your child's teacher, is not only to help them reach their goals with their education but also with their relationships in their lives. Growth Mindset is essential in being successful in the classroom and in life. I can't wait to help my students on this journey!
About Mrs. Sheldon
This is my fourth year teaching 5th Grade at Klondike. I graduated from Luther College in Northeastern Iowa with a degree in Elementary Education and endorsement in Health K-12. I am beginning year 10 of teaching Upper Elementary. My husband and I, along with our son Everett (turns 2 in October) and our cat Zoe, live here on the West Side. Spending time with my family, reading, and being outdoors are all part of my favorite things to do.
