I am excited to begin the new school year with you and your child. This year will be my 29th year teaching and my first year in first grade. I grew up right here on the south side of Lafayette. I attended Mayflower Mill, Southwestern, and then McCutcheon. Purdue is where I studied and earned my degree to become a teacher.

I love to spend time with my family. I have two younger brothers, Ben and Mark. We love watching Purdue football and basketball games together. I am so lucky that my brother Mark has blessed me with 3 nieces; Emma, Kenzie, and Aubrey. My brother Ben has four boys and one little girl that just turned 5 years old. We spend time in the pool, painting, and going to the park.
