I am excited to begin the new school year with you and your child. This year will be my 29th year teaching with all of them in second grade except one year in third grade. I grew up right here on the south side of Lafayette. I attended Mayflower Mill, Southwestern, and then McCutcheon. Purdue is where I studied and earned my degree to become a teacher.

I love to spend time with my family. I have two younger brothers, Ben and Mark. We love watching Purdue football and basketball games together. I am so lucky that my brother Mark has blessed me with 3 nieces; Emma, Kenzie, and Aubrey. My brother Ben has four boys and one little girl that just turned 4 years old. We spend time in the pool, painting, and going to the park.
