My name is Jessica Wallace, and I am excited to be your child’s teacher this year! This will be my 11th year at Burnett Creek and my 18th year teaching first grade. I graduated from Purdue North Central in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. I am licensed to teach regular education grades K-8th. I knew I wanted to be a teacher since I was in first grade. My mom was a teacher and I saw the love that she had for her students and the joy that she had when teaching. I knew that was what I had to do!
My husband, Chuck, and I live in West Lafayette with our 16-year-old daughter, Campbell, our 13-year-old son, Cooper, and our dog, Tillman. Campbell is a 11th grader and Cooper is a 7thgrader.
I am originally from the small town of North Judson, Indiana. It is definitely a huge contrast to West Lafayette. I come from a large family. I have 5 brothers, 2 sisters, and many nieces and nephews. I love spending time with my family. I enjoy camping, the beach, cheering for Purdue, and visiting new places. My husband and I also enjoy watching our kids play sports. It takes up many hours of our lives!
