In the Orchard we work to build a strong sense of community where the learning environment is student-centered. I think of our classroom as a family. I value and celebrate that every child is a different type of learner, and strive to meet the needs of the diverse learning styles in my classroom.Differentiated instruction through choice and engaging activities, with real world applications are important for student growth. Student families are viewed as an important part of our team. Strong relationships are the foundation of meaningful learning. Communication and family participation are a huger part of student success. It is important to develop a connection with my students and help them build relationships with their classmates. I am looking forward to an exciting year full of fun, learning, and community!
