Hello! I am Mrs. Newman, professional school counselor for Wyandotte Elementary. This is my 13th year as a school counselor and 2nd year at WYE. I have a partner who helps me in my work. Her name is Heidi, and she is a four-year-old golden retriever. We are a certified pet therapy team through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Besides working in schools, Heidi and I volunteer with Elara Caring to provide end of life comfort to individuals and their families.
