All students deserve to learn in a positive, safe, and nurturing classroom! Our discipline plan provides guidance so that students can make good choices. The plan emphasizes and rewards good behavior. 

Classroom Expectations

• Obey school rules. This includes following lunchroom, playground, restroom, and hallway procedures.

• Be honest, kind, and respectful to others. Also, respect school and personal property.

• Listen and follow directions.

• Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.

• Always do your personal best!

Rewards for Choosing Good Behavior 

• Classroom Store (Students will be earning classroom tickets for a job well done and will have the opportunity to purchase trinkets in our classroom store.)

• Dojo Points

• Verbal praise and compliments!

• Positive messages to parents!

• Extra Privileges!

• Treats and stickers

Classroom Dojo

Students will be able to earn points on Classroom Dojo for their behavior. They can earn and lose points based on their behavior in the classroom. Parents can see how their child is doing each day! 

Discipline Plan

1st infraction- verbal warning

2nd infraction- lose a Dojo point and complete think sheet

3rd infraction- lose another Dojo point, conference with Mrs. Bayley, and possibly lose recess time

4th infraction- lose another Dojo point and parent contact 

5th infraction- office referral
