Hello! I’m Jennifer Varga and this is my 11th year teaching Kindergarten here at Klondike. I am from Fishers, Indiana where I grew up with my mom, dad, and two older sisters. I attended North Central High School and graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Elementary Education and a kindergarten- primary concentration. I have had a passion for teaching since I was a little girl and have always enjoyed learning and going on adventures! Growing up I was a competitive athlete in the sport of swimming which continued into my collegiate years. I also have a huge passion for educating others about Type 1 diabetes and how it affects my everyday life. Being able to share my adversity with others, especially children, and how I continue enjoying life to the fullest is my goal. My husband, Jonathon, is a social studies teacher at Harrison High School. He is also an assistant coach for the Harrison Track & Field and head coach for the Freshmen Football teams. Together we have a Mini-Goldendoodle puppy, Teddy.
I want this website to be a helpful place, where you can find information, weekly newsletters, and follow along with what our class has been up to. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.
