Every day students will be given time to complete most assignments in class and any work not completed during that time will be brought home to complete. I do not create assignments for the purpose of just being homework.
Students are encouraged to read 20 minutes each night in a book of their choice (preferably one that they are reading for AR so they can take quizzes to earn their required quarterly points).
Students may need to spend some time at home working on reviewing spelling and/or vocabulary words at home as extra practice.
Absence Policy
We all get sick sometimes! The amount of days a student is absent is the amount of days they have to complete the assignments missed. (absent 1 day = 1 day to complete the assignments)
Grading Policy- Assignments can be redone to earn a higher grade.
90-100 = A
80-89 = B
70-79 = C
60-69 = D
59 and below = F
