Welcome to a new school year! Third Grade will be a year of great educational growth! During this year, you can expect to see your child become a more independent worker and develop stronger academic skills. As parents, you are an essential part of the educational process. It is important for us to maintain open communication. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please let me know! I am looking forward to a great year!
A Little About Me!
The 2017 - 2018 school year marks my 26th year of teaching. There is always something new and exciting to look forward to each day! I graduated from McCutcheon High School, my bachelor's degree is from Purdue University, and my master's degree is from Indiana Wesleyan University. My husband and I have three children. Our oldest son, Taylor, is 24 and graduated from Purdue in May 2016. His office is in West Lafayette, so it's nice to still have him in the area. Our daughter, Kayleigh, is 18 and graduated from McCutcheon in May. She is majoring in Brain and Behavioral Science at Purdue. Our youngest daughter, Laina, is 13 and is in 8th grade at Southwestern Middle School. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family and friends, read, do home improvement projects, crafts, and landscaping projects. I am looking forward to working with all of my students and families!
