Meet Your Teacher

Welcome to our classroom! My name is Alyson Sautter, and I have been teaching at Klondike Elementary for 29 years. I love teaching third grade and am super excited to be working with your child this year. 

I grew up in West Lafayette and graduated from Purdue University. I enjoy watching Boilermaker football and basketball. I also love spending time with my family.

My husband, Jon, and I have three children. Jack is a Purdue graduate and works in the building construction industry. He and his wife, Sarah, just moved back to West Lafayette after she graduated from IU dental school.  Caroline is also a Purdue graduate and works at the Ben and Maxine Miller Child Development Laboratory School. She is getting married in June of 2026! Our youngest, Will, is a junior at Purdue, studying communications. We had our first grandchild this summer. Jack and Sarah had a little girl. We are super excited to spoil Claire!

We have two dogs.  Keady is a standard Australian Shepherd, and Bizzy is a mini-Australian Shepherd.
