Kindergarteners do not get traditional grades. They will be formally assessed each 9 weeks for report card purposes and will get a 1, 2, 3, or 4 based on the percentages below. The numbers are equivalent to the letters, for example 4 is an A, 3 is a B, etc. It covers Reading, Writing, Personal Development/Practical Skills, Mathematics, Science/Health, Social Studies, Art, Music, Physical Education, and Personal Growth & Study Habits.
90 - 100% = A (Kindergarten equivalent of 4)
80 - 89% = B (Kindergarten equivalent of 3)
70 - 79% = C (Kindergarten equivalent of 2)
60 - 69% = D (Kindergarten equivalent of 1)
59 and Below = F (Kindergarten equivalent of 1)
*No grades will be entered into PowerSchool until our summative assessments each 9 weeks
