8th grade choir shirts should be ordered by Friday, September 4th.
All 8th grade singers should wear their red performance, black dress pants, and black dress shoes.
For concerts held at ETMS, 8th grade singers should arrive by 6:15, dressed in concert attire.
The arrival time for other performances will be depend on the performance site/date/time. These details will be emailed to parents/guardians as soon as they are received.
Each year, the Indiana State School Music Association (ISSMA) sponsors organizational contests throughout the state. The 8th grade choir will perform for a panel of 3 adjudicators, receiving comments from each judge and an overall score. This is the culminating event for our 8th grade choir, giving them an opportunity to showcase what they have accomplished during the past 3 years.
Because of this, YES, it is a required performance for all 8th grade singers.
This year's contest will be on Saturday, April 3 at West Lafayette Jr/Sr High School.
Qualified 8th grade musicians are invited to Chicago May 7th and 8th!
