PE Grading Policy

Students participate in PE once a week for 30 minutes with their homeroom class. Participation is critical to overall progress & success during class time. Grades will be give at the end of each unit. All students start with 10 points per unit. Grades will be giving at the end of each quarter. Grades are based on Participation (80%) & Skill (20%).

Participation: actively engaging (listening and following directions) in our activities and always put forth their best effort.

Skill: based on my observation of student’s skill & improvement over time

A - 100% - 90%

B - 89% - 80%

C - 79% - 70%

D - 69% - 60%

F - 59% - below
