PE with Mrs. Bornino
Welcome to Klondike Elementary & Intermediate Physical Education (PE)!!!! My Name is Andrea Bornino and I am excited to teacher your kids to learn to love to move. During PE, we will talk about how to stay healthy, feel strong and be empowered. This year we will explore a variety of physical literacy experiences including the infamous parachute, scooters, basketball, soccer, jump rope, golf (2nd-5th), balancing and cycling (K-1st), Olympic sports, hockey, bowling, team building games, inclusion experiences and more.
Please make sure your child(ren) are wearing comfy clothes to move and play in during PE. Keep them safe by packing their athletic shoes for PE days; students frequently trip, stumble and slip in sandals, dress shoes, Crocs, dress boots, HeyDudes, Jelly Shoes, winter boots, etc.
About Me
This is my 18th year of teaching. I was born and raised in Southeastern Indiana and attended Purdue. My mom taught PE for 32 years and I felt called to follow in her footsteps. My husband and I have two amazing kids and two ornery dogs. My family loves to be VERY active. We are always busy doing something together; participating in multiple sporting activities, creating an ice rink in our back yard, off-roading in our Jeep, swimming, jumping on the trampoline, playing board games and cards (UNO No Mercy is our favorite).
I am looking forward to making many amazing movement memories with your child(ren) this year. Please feel free to contact me with any questions at akbornino@tsc.k12.in.us.
Stay Active,
Andrea Bornino
