Kindergarten Grading Policy

The method for establishing grades at the kindergarten level is a checklist of outcomes that relate to the Indiana Academic Standards. Our kindergarten progress report is given at the end of each nine week period. It covers Language Arts, Writing, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Art, Music, Physical Education, Health, and Personal Growth and Study Habits.

Rating is

4= Mastery (90%-100%)

3= Approaching Mastery (80%-89%)

2= Devoloping Mastery (70%-79%)

1= Needs Time to Master (0%-69%)

Unmarked Items = Future Instruction
