Welcome to Third Grade!!
This is my third year at Hershey Elementary, but my twelfth year teaching in all! I grew up in Crawfordsville, Indiana. I went to Johnson University in Knoxville, Tennessee. After graduating, I moved to Greensboro, North Carolina and taught third grade. We moved back home to Indiana six years ago. I taught fourth grade at Klondike Elementary in the Tippecanoe School Cooperation before transferring to Hershey. It is a dream for me to teach at Hershey since HES serves the community in which I live.
My husband and I will be married for 13 years this year. We have two adorable children. My daughter, Emory, is 9 years old. She is silly, thoughtful, and enthusiastic! Emory will be in fourth grade this year. My son, Odin, is 7 years old. He is sweet, curious, and adventurous! Odin is excited about first grade. Recently we welcomed a sweet (not so little) puppy into our home and she has been a huge joy for our family!
I am extremely passionate about teaching. It is so fulfilling to help students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I understand that every single child in my classroom is someone's whole world. Thank you for trusting me to teach and care for your kiddos! I have the best job.
Meet Our Student Teacher - Miss. Coleman
Miss. Coleman attends Purdue University. She will be with us three days a week the first semester and every day second semester! Miss. Coleman was a Hershey Panther as a child. That is why student teaching at Hershey is an absolute dream for her.
