**Social Studies, Science, and Health will be graded based on 1st grade standards, participation and completion of assigned projects.
They may earn an:
A= Participate, complete projects, and fulfill standards
C= If they participate in class, but do not complete projects.
F= If none of the above areas are fulfilled.
Practice papers may not have letter grades. Instead, they may be graded as follows: a check plus for correct paper, a check for a completed paper, or a check minus for a paper with mistakes. Sometimes practice papers will simply be stamped or given stickers. Papers that are worked as a whole class will be marked WT (worked together) or class.
Report cards are given at the end of every nine weeks of school. A parent-teacher conference is scheduled for October and March. However, we can also meet when you or I feel it is in your child’s best interests.
