Distance Learning will have it's challenges but will also have some benefits. Here are some helpful tips, guides, and tutorials to help you along. And of course, don't forget to ask for help.
Learning in an online environment is different from learning in a face-to-face class. You are expected to work independently and be responsible of managing your time. It also takes more effort to communicate clearly in an online format.
Time management is a learned skill not instinct.
The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. The technique uses a timer to break down work into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks.
Taking breaks, making check lists, avoid multitasking, make a schedule or use a calendar and if you can, set boundaries that prioritize what you need to get things done.

Having personal interactions in vital to keeping relationships with our students, teachers, and classmates. Video Calls are not ideal but they are a great way for us to keep connected.

I am here for you. However, there will be times that I will be unavailable, much like in the classroom. 3B4Me is a great example of how you can find answers to questions you have when I am not accessible.
One of the benefits to Distance Learning is that your resources are limitless. You can find information online, contact classmates, reach out to professionals, watch Youtube videos, all before contacting me.
This being said, not everyone has the same access. Take me for example, I don't have internet at home which makes things sometimes difficult to research or to respond to.
If there are challenges outside of your control, please let me know. I can only help or understand if information is brought to my attention.
