It was a Spring day in Wyoming & I was working in my home office while pondering my "What's Next?" move- I had recently parted ways with a non-profit that I courageously & prosperously led as Executive Director for a year & a half- while drinking my coffee, reflecting & looking towards the future, I kept arriving at the same fork in the river- I could look for a position with a different organization or take a risk and forge my own path.
As a natural trailblazer- I knew the greatness I was capable of & what I brought to the table. I understood that risk=reward and that the start would be hard- as most beginnings are- but, I was confident in my capabilities, experiences & commitment to achieving my goals.
My degree in education, background in teaching, passion for raising up good humans, and actively building community & relationships are some of the forces that encompass my drive. I hold family, relationships & community in the highest regard.
These staunch realizations pioneered the trail that led me to create Redbird Consulting & Advocacy.
Named for, and as, a tribute to my family's homesteaded farm- an unincorporated community in Holt County, Nebraska- Redbird symbolizes strength, family, hope & perseverance.
Humble. Unwavering. Loyal. Tried & true.
Redbird has valiantly withstood the test of both time & change- a genuine example of commitment & hard work. It's where I grew up, learned life lessons, the values of togetherness & not giving up. It's where my grit was born & cultivated. It's the sturdy foundation on which my morals were built on.
It's real life magic.
All of that authenticity just about sums up the why and how that got me here-- starting & operating Redbird Consulting & Advocacy.
I hope you find my story as compelling & encouraging as I do... and, because you took the time to learn a little about me, my background & my integrity, you will trust Redbird to go to work for you.
Warmly,
Tara
