There are Year 12 Parents information evenings for students on the respective campuses as follows:
Sixth Form Hub (Writhlington and SSS): Tuesday 8th September at 6pm
MSN Sixth Campus: Tuesday 8th September at 6pm
This presentation will give more information about expectations for Sixth Form students and ways in which you can support your child in their Sixth Form studies. If you have any further queries following this then you can book a meeting with the lead for your child’s campus by contacting the Sixth Form on 01761 402280 or sixthformadmin@6thform.mnsp.org.uk.
The Year 12 Induction day for both campuses is on Monday 7th September and the start of term for lessons is Tuesday 8th September.
We look forward to seeing you in September.
Transition tasks
We have prepared some activities that you should complete over the summer break to help you to prepare for starting on your courses with us in September.
These activities will help you make the transition from GCSE to college study and are designed to engage you in your subjects, which will be referred to in the first part of your course.
We will be focussing on the time management and study skills you will need to help you to make a smooth transition to Sixth Form study during tutor time in September. These skills are very different to how you will have worked in lower school.
The summer work can be accessed via the tab for the campus you have applied to at the top of this page. If you have any queries about the work then please contact the teacher whose details is listed on each subject task sheet or contact us directly in the Sixth Form office (sixthformadmin@6thform.mnsp.org.uk).
