All new software/hardware used by TCS students or teachers must be approved by TCS Software/Hardware Approval.
TCS Software/Hardware Approval meets on the second Tuesday of every month, and examines requested software/hardware for the following:
To ensure compatibility with our network and systems
To ensure network security
To examine the software's COPPA and FERPA policies to protect students
To confirm that similar software/hardware is not already in place
To confirm that the requested software/hardware is in alignment with TCS curriculum and goals
Please note that you should allow the TCS Tech Department to create ALL student accounts, even for free websites.
