Paine Elementary School

Paine Elementary is a school deeply rooted in legacy and tradition and also one that actively works to grow and advance with the future.  We are equipped, inspired, and informed on BEST practices and have exemplar teachers, administrators, and stakeholders working together to continue to create a culture and climate of excellence in all things that we do, particularly our beliefs, relationships, growth, learning, and achievement.

Paine Primary and Paine Intermediate were created to meet a growing community's commitment to providing the best education for the students of Trussville. The Trussville community was part of the much larger Jefferson County. The stakeholders in Trussville were so passionate about moving our community forward that a local company Amerex donated the land for the two schools.  Because of the explosive growth, the State of Alabama agreed to pay for one elementary school.  This left many students still in a crowded classroom.  The city of Trussville made the decision to pay for the second school to be built at the same time. Trussville students were on track to get two brand new buildings.  During this time, the Trussville community also began to look at forming their own school system.  All this to say, the community of Trussville will do what it takes to get our students what they need and use forward thinking to position our students to be part of the future work force.

We are a community of educators who collaborate often and well to ensure we reach all students. Our students collaborate in their own class, between classes at their own grade level, and between grade levels.   From the top down we all do what is best for the kids! We fully appreciate that this is our students chance to form the critical foundation of their education. We are building a future of excellence at Paine by using best practices daily!
