Keep Math Skills Sharp This Summer!
Just like reading, math skills can fade over the summer without a little practice. That’s why we’re encouraging all students to complete the Summer Math Packet. Doing just one page a day, 3 to 4 days a week, is all it takes to keep those math muscles strong! The packet is filled with meaningful review activities that help your child stay confident and ready for the next grade. Think of it as a quick daily brain boost—kind of like a smoothie for your math brain!
See your entering grade level below for your summer enrichment packet and directions.
Why Practice Math Fact Fluency?
Building strong math fact fluency—being able to quickly and accurately recall basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts—is a critical part of your child’s math development. When students know their facts with ease, they free up brain power to focus on more complex problem-solving and higher-level thinking. It boosts confidence, reduces frustration, and lays the foundation for success in all areas of math. We’ve provided a site where your child can practice in a fun and engaging way—just a few minutes a day can make a big difference!
See your entering grade level below for fluency games and activities that your child should engage in daily to keep fluency sharp.
