The Summer Math Olympics Challenge will has 3 levels of participation:

Gold Medal: Setting your sights on gold means committing to excellence and pushing beyond your comfort zone. Gold represents the pinnacle of achievement, dedication, and the pursuit of greatness. By aiming for gold, you are not only setting a high standard for yourself but also embracing the mindset that success is within your reach with hard work and perseverance.
To Earn the Gold Medal choose Path A or B and then complete all 3 bullets this summer.
Path A: Khan Academy Online
Students can complete work on Khan Academy Get Ready for the Next Grade Level and earn mastery points- This is an online program that your child will work through at his/her pace. The program automatically tracks the amount of time your child works for. You will record this on the log sheet at the end of the summer.
Complete 640 minutes (one hour per week) of math work this summer
a. Current Trumbull students entering grades 3-5 were set up on Khan Academy before the end of the school year. Use his link for Directions to log into an existing Khan Account
b. If you are a new student to Trumbull Public Schools, please follow these directions to set up an account for your child:

This is a printable summer activity for entering grades K-8. If you choose this option, be sure to print the Passport on this page and the Connecticut Summer Math Passport Tasks. These are all available in English and Spanish.

By aiming for silver, you set a high standard for yourself, striving to exceed your current capabilities and pushing towards your full potential.
To Earn the Silver Medal you need to choose Path A or B and then complete all 3 bullets this summer.
