Students are specifically requested not to bring to school large sums of money, expensive jewelry, or toys. The school can assume no responsibility in the event of their loss, damage or theft. TRADING CARDS, ELECTRONIC GAMES, IPADS, IPODS, AND CELL PHONES often interfere with the school’s ability to educate, and they are not permitted out while on school grounds unless approved by the classroom teacher. Electronic devices should be off and in a safe location throughout the school day. Students with electronic wearables cannot utilize them throughout the school day.
Items brought into school, such as bookbags, lunch boxes, jackets, and school supplies should be labeled with your child's name and classroom number. If an item becomes misplaced, this will help our staff members to ensure that all personal belongings are returned to the rightful owner. Our school has a lost and found box in the cafeteria, and it is emptied on the last Friday of every month. Students are reminded to view the lost items displayed on the tables near the cafeteria to claim their belongings. At the end of every month, unclaimed items are donated to a local community agency.
