I'm a Maker. How Can I Participate in Makerfest?

Our Makers make Makerfest... magnificent! (Try saying that three times fast.) We've had an incredible variety of over 250 individuals and organizations in the past three years who've shared their imaginations, products, missions, and activities, delighting and enlightening attendees in myriad ways. In our experience, the best way to get people to know about you is to engage them in doing what you do!

We keep a very open mind to what making is and are always interested in new ideas, but we only select those who a) are aligned with our vision and b) can develop a great maker activity to share. If you think that's you, apply below and let's talk!

Can I Sell Stuff?

As you read in our vision statement, JSMF is not a trade show or exhibit hall. For the first two years, our guidelines prevented such transactions from taking place at the fest, though of course literature could be shared that allowed attendees to contact makers for sales beyond the fest. However, based on "consumer feedback," we have grown more open to limited product sales, provided there is still a hands-on component within the maker concept. If you would like us to consider that, please let us know so we can discuss a plan.

All registered makers will be contacted by phone and a final follow up email will go out the week of October 8 with logistics for your arrival, set up, and schedule (depending on what you are doing that day), including an 8 - 9:30 AM parking pass if you have much to unload.
