Dear Hooper Husky Family,
The purpose of this handbook is to provide you and your family with direction and guidance about our programs, expectations, and the responsibilities of all members of our Hooper Avenue Elementary School Community.
We ask that you take some time to review the handbook with your child/children that attend our school.
Throughout the handbook, you will be reminded of and see the vision of our school that holds the highest expectations of every school community member to ensure that each scholar has an opportunity to be successful in a safe learning environment. Our expectations are few and simple, act with respect, be responsible, and demonstrate self-control. Please reinforce with your child(ren) the importance of these three core beliefs of our school.

The Hoop Exclusive is an online newsletter. It is sent electronically through the Parent Portal. This is our primary means of communicating with our families. Scholars’ achievements, special events, and activities are highlighted. Scholars and families are asked to read and discuss the information provided in the newsletter and to call the school if they have any questions or concerns. If you are not receiving The Hoop Exclusive, please contact the main office to set up a Parent Portal account.
Should you change your phone number and/or address, please go on the Parent Portal under the Contacts tab to update. Please call Central Registration at 732-505-2600 to arrange an appointment to bring the forms and residency proofs for processing. Alternatively, you may also upload everything to centralregistration@trschools.com, and we will send a confirmation email once we are able to process the change.
