4th & 5th grade Goblin students compete in race events where there are 4 competitions, each counting 25% towards the overall event score

• Drag Race - 120 foot drag race for time

• Slalom Race - 120 foot slalom race for time

• Circuit Race - a lap race of varying lengths & course designs

• Team Presentation

Students in grades 6-12 compete in race events where there are two competitions, each counting 50% towards the overall event score

• Endurance Race - The goal is to log as many laps as possible in 90 minutes without changing batteries, utilizing 3 drivers & 2 driver-change pit stops

• Team Presentation - Teams must submit a team presentation for each race event. They are given a topic, format, and rubric to follow and submit the presentation ahead of time. Topics include a team's business plan, F24 modifications, marketing plan, team budget, fundraising & sponsorship, or examples of innovation or problem solving the team has experienced. Formats include tri-board, Google Slides, producing a video, or a live presentation for a panel of judges.
