Hello students, parents, family, and friends. My name is Mr. Gibson and I am the Principal at Trotwood-Madison Middle School. I would like to take this opportunity to share with you about myself. I was born in Dayton, Ohio. I am married and have two children. All of my adult life I have felt education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. I look forward to working with the Trotwood community to impact student achievement. It seems our world has changed but my focus to provide quality education for all students, has not. I look forward to partnering with you as we navigate through these trying times.
Hello Trotwood-Madison Middle School Families. Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year. My name is Kanika Jones and I am absolutely elated to serve as the Assistant Principal at Trotwood-Madison Middle School. First, I want to share with you some information about me. I am a native of Detroit, MI and I'm my parents only child. I am happily married to Dr. Marvin Jones and we have 4 beautiful children and a dog named Zeus.
Although we find ourselves in tough and uncertain times, please know our efforts will absolutely focus on ensuring that your children are adequately prepared for high school and beyond. We will work tirelessly, be it virtually or face-to-face eventually, to create an environment that is emotionally, socially, physically and psychologically safe. I eagerly look forward to partnering with you. Please believe that together, we can make this a successful school year. Take care and be safe!!!
