1. Overview
Ultimate Tic-Tac-Toe ("the App", "we", "us") is a mobile game published by Matt & Trophy Games. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains clearly what data the App collects, how it is used, and what rights you have.
The short version: the App stores game statistics on your device only. We do not run servers. We do not collect personal information. We do not track you.
2. Information We Collect
2a. Data stored locally on your device
The App uses your device's local storage (AsyncStorage) to save:
Game statistics — wins, losses, draws, win streaks, game timers per difficulty mode
Daily challenge results — date played, result, streak count
Your theme preference — dark, light, or system
Free-game counters — how many free games you have used today (resets at midnight)
Purchase status — whether you have unlocked the Full Version (stored locally so the app remembers your purchase without a server)
All of this data lives entirely on your device. It is never transmitted to us or any third party. It is deleted if you uninstall the App.
2b. Data we do NOT collect
Your name, email address, or any contact information
Your location
Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or fingerprints
Usage analytics or crash reports
Any data from the camera, microphone, contacts, or photos
3. In-App Purchases
The App offers a one-time in-app purchase ("Full Version", $1.99 USD). All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see, receive, or store your payment card details or transaction information.
RevenueCat (revenuecat.com) is used to verify that a purchase was completed. RevenueCat may receive a pseudonymous identifier from the store (such as an Apple or Google transaction ID) solely to validate your entitlement. No personal information is shared with RevenueCat beyond what your chosen app store provides. You can review RevenueCat's privacy policy at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
Your purchase entitlement is cached locally on your device so the App does not need a network connection to grant you access to purchased features.
4. Third-Party Services
Apple App Store - Payment processing for iOS in-app purchase. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Google Play - Payment processing for Android in-app purchase. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
RevenueCat - Purchase receipt validation only. Receives a pseudonymous transaction ID from the store. No personal data shared by us. See revenuecat.com/privacy.
No analytics services, advertising networks, or social SDKs are included in the App.
5. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your region). The App contains no advertising, no social features, and no data collection, making it suitable for all ages. If you believe a child has somehow provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
All data stored by the App lives on your device and is under your control at all times. You can delete all App data by uninstalling the App. We do not retain any data on our servers because we do not collect any data.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA (California), or similar laws — including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you. Because we do not collect or hold any personal data, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at the address below.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we materially change our data practices — for example, by adding analytics or advertising — we will update this policy and increment the "Last updated" date before publishing the App update. Continued use of the App after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
