Troop 4 sent 2 crews in 2021, one crew in 2024 and will return in 2027. After doing some cool things for a couple of days in Colorado Springs, we will make our way to Cimmaron, NM to start our 12 day trek. Once on the trail, Scouts will hike and enjoy activities along the way
Scouts that are 14 and older on 7/26/2027 are eligible to go.
Estimated Cost for the trip is $3400 without troop subsidy.
Troop Subsidy, currently requested at $450 (reduced due to implementation of Scout fundraising accounts as of April 2027)
Payment Schedule
$150 due by 3/31/2026
$1,200 due by 9/15/2026 - can use Scout account to reduce
$1,200 due by 2/15/2027 - can use Scout account to reduce
Remaining (between $200 and $400) due by June 15, 2027 - can use Scout account to reduce

- 7/24 - Fly out to Denver early am
- 7/24 pm & 7/25 - Tour Colorado Springs (WW Rafting, Garden of Gods, Pikes Peak Shuttle)
- 7/26 - Travel to Philmont - arrive 11:30am, afternoon orientation/pack
- 7/27 - On the trail
- 8/6 - Off the trail - celebration dinner
- 8/7 - Leave Philmont, early drive back to Denver and flight home
