Troop 200 has an active program with lots of exciting opportunities for youth. We focus on outdoor skills, leadership skills, and developing youth. We have weekly meetings, monthly campouts, week-long summer camps, high adventure trips, and different exciting opportunities.
How Frequently Do We Meet?
The Troop meets once a week, on Monday evenings.
The Court of Honors are held twice annually. This is where scouts receive recognition for the work that they have accomplished. This includes awarding rank advancements, merit badges, or other honors and awards.
Where Do We Meet And What Time?
We meet at Shepherd of the Prairie Lutheran Church in Huntley from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm.
Shepherd of the Prairie Lutheran Church is located at 10805 Main Street in Huntley. Troop activities are usually located in Fellowship Hall.
Each Scout pays a yearly fee; in 2026, it was $20 for the troop fee. Scouting America's fees were $100. There are other fees for camping adventures and some activities. In addition to those fees, Scouts are required to wear a Scout uniform and purchase a Scout handbook.
