Many Rivers District was the Scouting region previously known as Northern Star Council District F prior to the 2026 redistricting. The name Many Rivers originated from the 2000 redistricting, when the Three Rivers and Many Waters districts were merged.
The district brought together volunteers from across the northeast metro area to coordinate local events, community engagement, and collaborative efforts in support of youth and families.
Following the 2026 redistricting, the district structure was formally dissolved and reorganized (parts of District F were absorbed by Districts H and G). While the official district no longer exists, many of the same volunteers will continue to work together. To preserve the relationships, local identity, and momentum built over the years, we continue to organize and support events informally under the former Many Rivers name.
In this informal capacity, Many Rivers serves as a shared identity and community network rather than an official district designation, reflecting both our regional roots and our ongoing commitment to supporting Scouts, families, and volunteers across the northeast metro.
