Welcome to the Tri-Town School Union ELE Program Home Page, serving the districts of Boxford, Middleton, and Topsfield. Our ELE Program serves approximately 20 students in grades K-6 from a range of cultures worldwide. While our ELE enrollment is low, we have many bilingual families from diverse backgrounds. Our administration and staff is committed to provide supportive and academically sound programs for ELE students & families across the Tri-Town. ELE services are provided in both the classroom, by SEI (Sheltered English Instruction) trained teachers, as well as in small group sessions by certified ESL teachers.
ELE students in the Tri-Town have access to all academic support programs such as Title I, Special Education and tiered classroom interventions. They also have access to extra-curricular activities that are available to all students. There are many offerings at our schools, and the guidance staff, principals and ELE staff encourage our ELE students to participate in the many school & town-sponsored events.
These pages are designed so that parents, students, and teachers are able to easily access the information they need to support EL students in achieving academic success, as well as provide families with resources they may need.
